100th self-built and developed hopper trailer
Recently, Butter put its 100th self-built and developed hopper trailer into use. The Butter self-built trailers are revolutionary, because they weigh a mere 5,000 kilos.



PotatoEurope 2009

Butter was represented September 9th and 10th on PotatoEurope 2009, the international potatofair, held in Emmeloord. Together with the nine trucks, which took care of the potato transport, it was a big succes.

 

Butter starts in Great Brittain

Butter International Transport extends her activities. Besides the branches in Dronten (NL), Warsaw (PL) and Antwerp (B), Butter recently opened a branche in Whittlesey, Peterborough (GB).
Butter UK ltd. employs two commercial persons, Paul Allen and Simon Allen. They both have extensive experience in transporting agricultural products in bulk. They will actively market in Great Brittain to acquire jobs for Butter. For the transport Butter uses the self-built and developed leightweight bulktrailers with high loadingcapacity.

Furthermore Butter has obtained a 50% interest in QD Logistics. This transport company has its specialties in bulk transport of cocoabeans, both national and international. QD’s young fleet exists of 13 trucks and 23 trailers (15 belt trailers, 2 tautliners and 6 container(tip)chassis) The company is established in Yorkshire (York Holme on Spalding Moor), nearby the port of Hull.
By doing this, Butter has made an important step in the further development of the company.
